Forums

Here your members can have discussions with each other on posts, forums categorized on categories and these categories have posts.

First, you need to add your categories using the Forums Categories section.

  1. Click on Forums from the left menu. 
  2. You will find the list of your forum categories and the latest posts as the below image.

In this page you can find:

  • Main Categories: every category show its title, description, inside posts count and latest post
  • Latest posts: show its parent category, author, latest reply and other quick information.

If you are a moderator on this category, you will find this controlling button visible beside posts Eduopus Forum edit button , click on this button to find multiple options:

  1. Stick: by default, posts ordered based on the date that added on, so the latest added post will be the first post on top of the page, click on Stick button to make this post always visible as the first post between its category posts.

Stickied posts will have a Sticky flag as an image.

To UnStick post, repeat the previous steps and click on the UnStick button.

  1. Lock: Click on this button if you would like to prevent replying to this post by institute members, but moderators still able to reply to this post.

Locked posts will have a Locked flag as an image.

To UnLock post, repeat the previous steps and click on the UnLock button.

  1. Remove: Click on this button if you would like to remove this post.


When you open any forum post, you will find all the information about this post, in addition to the ability to reply to this post.

You can edit a post by click on the settings icon on top Eduopus Library edit button.
This will show the settings menu as below image:
